Welcome to my profile page! My name is Quy Ma (pronounced kwee maw, if you were curious).
I’m 33 years old and I’m a first-generation Vietnamese American, the oldest of three boys. My parents immigrated to the United States after the Vietnam War to start a new life, away from an oppressive regime in the 1980s.
I was born in Oakland, California, raised in Houston, Texas, and now live in the beautiful state of Utah with my wife and two Siberian Huskies.
Good day everyone! My name is Aaditya Rajagopalan. But people rarely call me by my full name. Many people struggle to pronounce my full name, so feel free to call me Aadi! I was born in Edison, New Jersey. I am currently a P1 pharmacy student at the University of the Sciences. I hope to one day become a hospital pharmacist and guide patients on a better path to health and therefore save lives. I enjoy traveling, reading, watching superhero shows (especially marvel shows), playing video games (specifically Xbox one), playing sports, and cooking during my free time.
The teacher, wife, mother, and polyamorous swinger next door.
My professional background is in elementary education. I completed my student teaching in a second-grade classroom in a catholic school, then spent two years working as a fourth-grade teacher with a certain prestigious nonprofit teacher-placement organization.
After stepping away from the public school classroom, I spent a year as a lead teacher in an early learning center.
In 2017, when my husband and I learned we were expecting, I decided to shift my career to virtual learning in order to stay home with our new baby (and also because I’m an…
Thank you for visiting my page. Like for many writers, the hardest thing to write about is writing about oneself. And while it evokes an uncomfortable proof of self, creating one’s own corner on the world wide web does, indeed, demand some explanation of the self.
I will, however, not bore you with biographical information but rather share with you what goes on in my mind and what moves, delights and fuels me, as this gives you a more accurate idea of what you may expect from my writing.
So let us begin…
All my life, I have been fascinated…
Woman in IT, Natural Scientist, Life Coach, Speaker, Podcaster, Writer
Talking or writing about yourself is about as comfortable as a visit to the dentist or if you have lady parts, a visit to the gyno. You know you should do it, but you really don’t want to. At least if you’re an introvert like I am.
I don’t enjoy being the center of attention, but I sincerely believe you need to push at the edges of your comfort zone to grow and experience new things. Also, for most of my life, being different from most people around me, I…
The journey through life can be as straight as an arrow, but where would the fun be in that?
My journey began on an Army base when I decided to choose my own path from the start — backwards. A natural-born storyteller, I spent my childhood making up stories for my friends and living a relatively carefree and uneventful life — except for when the woman down the row who stabbed her drunk husband, and the time the tornado took off half the siding, and when we traveled to “visit” Grandma.
I became the black sheep of the black sheep…
Welcome to my biography.
To the editors of About Me Stories — thank you for adding me to the publication. When the publication added me, I was sharing blog content that I’d already created a while ago, so I wasn’t paying much attention to anything else.
Then later, I checked out the publication, and I always meant to write this article.
So, here we are!
Hi, I’m Daniel.
People tend to call me Dan. People I don’t even know! Is that something every Daniel gets? Or do I seem like a Dan?
I am a marketing consultant/writer living in…
Hi everyone! I’m Meghan, age 49, and I’m an active duty naval officer with the Royal Canadian Navy. I’ve just been assigned to our National Defence HQ in Ottawa, and I think I’ll be rounding out my career there. I’m married to another naval officer, and together we have three great kids, the oldest of whom is seven.
I’ve always wanted to be a published writer, and this seems like an easy way to dip my toes into this world. Ideally, I’d be writing fiction, but apparently we’re supposed to start writing about what we know. I know myself, almost…
