Brevity is important when sharing things on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and so on. Hashtags can say so much.

In the interest of saving you time and energy, I’ve put together a list of motivational hashtags you can use in your own social media posts. I’m using my age group as the template for these (as I’m 46) but you can easily adjust these for any age range.

Here you go…

  • #sportyat40: Particularly useful if you’re shifting from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active one.
  • #numberoneat41: You’re looking out for yourself, making self-care a priority this year.
  • #newat42: This year marks a new chapter for you in your life, resulting in a brand new “you.”
  • #freeat43: You’ve let go of anything that wasn’t serving you as you celebrate another year around the sun.
  • #moreat44: Fulfillment is the key at this age. You want more of it and this hashtag lets everyone know that.
  • #thriveat45: You’re taking things to the next level as you hit the midway mark of your forties, not wanting just to survive but to thrive!
  • #kicksat46: Excitement is what you’re seeking, so you start doing things that are more daring.
  • #heavenat47: You’ve reached a point of contentedness in your life, so much so that it feels heavenly to you.
  • #greatat48: You simply feel great at this age. Time to tell the whole world about it in the form of a hashtag.
  • #fineat49: It’s the end of your forties as you know it, and you feel fine.

Four years ago, I wrote about 43 things I learned about personal productivity in my forty-three years on this planet. You can read it here.
