Forge Your Future: A Call to Action

The word “forge” has several meanings. There are two meanings that I believe are ideal when looking towards the future.

The first meaning is “to move forward slowly and steadily” which is a smart way to deal with the future. Take slow and steady steps to build the future that you want. The second meaning is ‘to move with a sudden increase of speed and power” which is another way to craft your future, being deliberate and making robust changes that will have great impact.

But “forge” also means to craft something sturdy and durable, as metalsmiths did. If you could forge something that stood the test of time, you were considered to be a craftsman. Your work was trusted far and wide, and your future in your trade was secure.

When I was thinking about how to help more people – people like you – improve their productivity and time management, the concept of forging the future came to mind. You want to craft something solid. Something you can rely on. Something that would stand the test of time. You also want to be able to move forward slowly and steadily but also have the capability to move strong and fast as needed. That’s the kind of future I want to help you build.

The Forge Your Future Challenge is how I’m going to do it.
