I had an uneventful day on Monday January 18th, 2021.

I had zero appointments. There was nothing of much consequence that was scheduled. I took it easy.

It was fantastic… and indirectly helped me with my productivity for the rest of the week (and hopefully beyond).

Here’s the thing: uneventful doesn’t necessarily mean boring or bad.

The definition of uneventful is “marked by no noteworthy or untoward incidents; placid.” To take it a step further, the definition of placid is to be “serenely free of interruption or disturbance.”

Doesn’t that sounds glorious?

Uneventful seems to have a negative or humdrum sound to it. But when you think about it in the terms I just mentioned – the very definition of the word – it really isn’t negative at all.

In fact, it sounds pretty positive to me.
