My New Best Email Folder
I have several email folders as part of my email management workflow, but I just added another one to that mix.
It’s not one that I necessarily need to review every single day but whenever seeds of doubt show up, I can now look at its contents and feel better.
Whenever I feel imposter syndrome creeping in, I can now just review what’s inside of that email folder and know that my mind is just playing tricks on me.
Actually, I don’t necessarily need to even look at the email messages them selves. The sheer number of emails in there can be really helpful to see.
So what is this new email folder I’m using? It’s simply called Gratitude.
Every email inside of that folder is an expression of gratitude that I have received from someone. Seeing those messages when I need to see them is incredibly helpful. So I keep them in a folder that I can easily glance at when the circumstances call for it.
This new folder — which is still quite new to me — is a real winner. If you haven’t set one up for yourself yet, I encourage you get started on that. It’s well worth your time.
