For good hearts are needed at this time

This is (unfortunately) the seventeenth in a series of inspired articles which were channelled in the days following the attack by Hamas on Israel in October and the response by the IDF in the weeks that followed.

I have set up this publication just for the purpose of sharing this perspective. I make no claims as to its Source and I refrain from editing it, over and above making it readable.

I, like the majority of the world, am reliant on news stories for information. In that sense the starting point for this inspiration is what I read and see around me, and that will inevitably shape at least part of the response.

Equally, any reader will be influenced by their life experience and personal beliefs, and that is how it should be. I believe that by sharing our perspectives, hopes, fears, and dreams we will come to know each other better and our humanity will shine through. Surely, this is the road to peace?

‘Beloved one, when the unspeakable is happening in your world and the pain and suffering echoes on the airwaves, it is so tempting to look away.

‘Why? Because hearts are tender, beloved one, they harden, or they break and when they break the words cannot keep pace with the feelings, and the feelings cannot keep pace with hope.

‘What hope can be salvaged from the bombed cities, the starving, traumatised and grieving populations or from those committed to service, themselves overwhelmed, exhausted, demoralised and frightened?

‘Very little, beloved one. Much as you may hope that Spirit can bring light to this darkness, it cannot, only mankind can do that and with each day, they are pushing that possibility further and further into the future.

‘As more hearts harden and more hearts break, the enmeshment remains impenetrable, you can almost visualise the roots of this conflict spreading out throughout this world creating a future that is scarred and broken.

‘Even the victors, if you believe that there can be any, will be scarred and broken. Their wounds may bear a different complexion to their perceived enemies, but they will be wounds, nonetheless, and scarred tissue is tenaciously inflexible.

‘Within every legacy of darkness there is light, and within every legacy of light there is darkness, it can be no other way. As more and more of the world’s population feel hopeless, hope will fill their horizon and become their goal.

‘Mankind is ever inventive and the only solutions that will work will come from within humanity and it takes a critical number to turn the tide of hopelessness to hopefulness. Just as it takes a critical power mass to fuel the flames of division, so it needs an amassing of a different kind to quell the flames.

‘It may seem foolish to consider prayer a force for change alongside tanks and bombs, but believe me when I say it will be more effective than another supply of armaments. Believe me when I say that a rising up within the world of inner peace, tuned to the Light of Creation, is more likely to silence the bombardment than a carpet of bombs. More likely to spread the seeds of peace within the roots of the legacy now spreading across your world.

‘War breeds an acceptance of war, a tendency within the wider world to normalise its inevitability because the divisions between people, countries, and cultures have become so deeply embedded. Does your leg refuse to cooperate with your shoulder, or your stomach with your head? No, should one be feeling below par, the other will inevitably change its behaviour until normal service is resumed. A poor analogy, I know, but you get my meaning.

‘This Age, this Golden Age, is unique in that it offers to mankind the potential to see themselves as part of a whole. A whole that is as intelligently crafted as the human body, and which, like the human body, is energised by a light that is universal, loving, and life giving.

‘It is the internal engine within every human being and it is nourished by the oil of human kindness, recognition, and understanding. It demands nothing and gives all, even to the misguided actions fuelled by freewill, it gives all.

‘I dare not say, ‘be of good cheer, but I will say, ‘be of good heart’, for it is good hearts that this world needs more than ever at this time. Peace be with you.’
