aboveeidea — It’s been about 4 months since the first coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China, December 2019, and also been about a month since WHO declared coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, till today April 12, 2020. Mankind have been experienced a lot of chaos. Fear envelops the rest of the world. People in lockdown, are paranoid. Healthcare workers are fighting in the front guard; Children are crying out loud since they cannot go out to play; Street vendors are in trouble because there are no consumers who buy the goods since people fear to go outside. History will become a witness that this pandemic(COVID-19) truly makes the world messed up. In this brief article, we state our predictions.

The Prediction based on the Evidence, and Why

On March 30, 2020, Al-Jazeera reported the death of German state minister of economy, Thomas Schaefer, which was estimated as a suicide, because of deeply worried how to overcome the economic fallout from the coronavirus; On April 2, 2020, TheJakartaPost reported one of Indonesian business owner filed a class-action lawsuit to the Indonesian president, Joko Widodo, in case of allegedly being careless to handle the spread of coronavirus; Major events in each nation were postponed; Economictimes reported that Global Economy could contract by 0.9% instead of growing by 2.5% as predicted before COVID-19 arrived; and reported by CNN on April 11, US coronavirus(COVID-19) death reaches 18,693 deaths. From the latest update on worldometers on April 12, 2020, coronavirus cases reach 1,780,315 cases.

If the number of cases raising every day and become higher and higher, healthcare professionals will be overwhelmed, their health will be ignored, their immune systems getting down, and the risk of being infected by COVID-19 is getting higher. If those cases happened, the number of healthcare professional will be settled down. Not to mention the economic crisis, if the economy getting worse, the healthcare tools will not be fulfilled, again and again, this will risk the healthcare professionals’ health.

After the healthcare professionals settled down, being overwhelmed, and the healthcare services will not be effective, optimal, and the worst, huge amount of patients will not be able to hold back the disease, they will die. Herd Immunity won’t be the option since it’s so risky.

If according to healthcare-in-Europe Spanish mathematician Juan Luis Fernández Martínez predicted Spain could have between 90,000 and 160,000 infected patients, we predict there is a worst-case that all humans on the earth(the human race) will be completely infected, everyone and everywhere, all of us. Why? Because this virus spreads rapidly and the vaccine production is inversely proportional to the number of spread and deaths. The past pandemics have typically lasted between 12 and 36 months. In that duration with the speed of spreading, that duration might be enough to infect every single human on this earth. Also, knowing in the past few days that a tiger was infected by COVID-19, this case probably allows another spread from animal(even the tiger case was estimated happened because the tiger was infected by the zookeeper), not only human race, but the animals’ lives are probably on a threat. And if these cases happen, there will be a massive reduction in the population of humankind on the earth.

We don’t know when exactly this pandemic over to deal with the human race, even Faheem Younus, the chief of infectious diseases at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. He says that it’s impossible to say if and when the coronavirus will die down because it’s a new virus, and therefore unpredictable There is indeed we have a chance for the human race to defeat coronavirus. All we need is by trusting every single element in our society and work rapidly, rightly, together. But still, if the world could take down this pandemic, global will need extra time to normalize the world sectors’ order.

Answering “when will this pandemic end”. The short answer is, no one can say for certain
