It’s time for another lesson on how to use MIM to conjure more SPELL!

Anytime you see ⛽ in this article you can expect to have to sign a transaction with Metamask. This will cost you gas.

Here we are going to polymorph our newly summoned MIMs into spell components (MIM-3LP3CRV LPs). Then we will use these components to perform a ritual spell and conjure up some SPELL tokens.

Clicking MIM3POOL, will open the crv.to website which allows you to produce MIM-3LP3CRV Liquidity pool tokens.

First things first, select the appropriate pool using the search bar as shown above. After this, select the amount of stable coins you want to deposit in the pool using the box on the right. You can choose to deposit whatever amount and combination of stable coins you desire, as long as you have them in your wallet!

After we have adjusted the values to our desire, we can double-check and then press DEPOSIT.⛽

First time wizards will need to approve the spending of their tokens, and depending on how many tokens we wish to deposit we may need to approve multiple tokens. WATCH OUT FOR GAS and SLIPPAGE!⛽⛽.

After we have gone through all of the transactions we should have MIM-3LP3CRV tokens in our wallet. To see them, just add them to Metamask using this address 0x5a6a4d54456819380173272a5e8e9b9904bdf41b.

Let’s move over to FARM to start the ritual spell.

How to use MIM-3LP3CRV tokens to conjure more SPELL

The farm page of the spellbook displays the ritual spell section which allows its user to add liquidity pool tokens and conjure SPELL.

We will need to scroll down to the MIM-3LP3CRV POOL and perform the Ritual Spell.

If you do not remember the steps from our previous article, here is a refresher:

First, we need to APPROVE the spending of our MIM-3LP3CRV tokens. ⛽

After this is complete, we simply press STAKE to deposit our MIM-3LP3CRV tokens into the farm to start our ritual.⛽

We can confirm that our deposit is successful above in the MIM-3LP3CRV DEPOSITED window. We can also see the SPELL tokens that we earn in the EARNED window above as time progresses and we continue to cast this ritual spell.

We are NOW summoning SPELL tokens with our MIM-3LP3CRV spell components.

This will be on the test!

• Our components (yvTKNs or xSUSHI) are continuing to earn interest in their respective sources.
• Our crvMIM3POOL tokens are continuing to earn trading fee rewards at Curve.Finance
• Our Ritual Spell is earning us SPELL tokens.

• Our MIM debt is increasing and may eventually need to be paid off. However, the growth in value of the components should be enough to offset this risk, but we should continue to monitor the level. Ritual spells require wizards to maintain concentration.

How to Swap MIM to USDT, DAI, USDC

Turn to page SWAP.

By clicking SWAP, we will open the crv.to website which allows us to swap your MIM stable coins for USDT, DAI or USDC.

Enter the amount of MIM you would like to swap, and select the stable coin you wish to swap into. Click the blue “swap” button and confirm your transaction ⛽.
