Neverending fun at the playground

After a couple months of quiet development & community engagement, we’re starting to pull the curtains back on what we’ve been working on to the public: the Abridged SDK (pre-release version codenamed “Archanova”). With the Abridged SDK, you will be able to integrate Ethereum app-layer components into your app logic in minutes and provide your users with the best UX Web 3 currently has to offer.

In the spirit of Incremental Decentralization, we built our SDK by challenging the assumption that nearly every single Ethereum project has made so far: that a new user entering the Web 3 ecosystem will eventually at some point start to care to learn about wallets and gas and keys and [insert your favorite blockchain jargon here].

We flipped that assumption on its head and built our SDK with the idea that a new user would never (I repeat, NEVER) care about anything Web 3 and would be singularly focused on a delightful user experience. Sound crazy? Not after you think about all your friends and family watching Netflix or ordering from Amazon without spending a single second wondering about the underlying cloud architecture or TLS encryption.

This is why we’re introducing the Abridged SDK playground. While our SDK is still in pre-release stage (let us know if you want early access!), you can get a good feel for what it can do by exploring the playground. If you’re a developer, you’ll be able to see how you can integrate onboarding and scaling solutions that have the potential to abstract 100% of the crypto from your app UX.

To learn more, check out the Abridged SDK playground here, sign up for early access to our SDK here, or check out our documentation here!
