After the recent acquisition announcements, here is a short status update on ABRT history and vision. ABRT is a great example of how a VC firm goes beyond the traditional investment model and explores lucrative opportunities in the WealthTech area. Wish all the best to our team & look forward to working together! Exciting things ahead :)

As ABRT Fund, we have made over 30 investments in 22 companies focused on global IT markets, including Acronis, Firemon, KupiVIP, StarWind, Veeam Software, Five9, and others. Our DNA stems from our history: ABRT was established in 2006 to work with the leading VC funds such as Mangrove Capital partners (investor of Skype), Accel Partner (investor of Facebook), Insight Venture Partner (investor of Twitter), and others.

In 2016, we changed our focus from directly investing in startups and private companies to investing through our partner network and building an ecosystem of companies in the VC market.

Today, after 14 years of successful operation, ABRT has evolved into a venture ecosystem with multiple offerings related to the global VC market. For example, we have developed a startup sourcing and pipeline management platform that streamlines the fundraising process, a fund of fund investments, and other offerings in our portfolio such as Innate Methods for product acceleration.

Even more than before, our offerings are aimed at evolving Venture Capital beyond today’s booming economy of entrepreneurship. ABRT has a consistent vision to advance the VC market by advocating its new offerings and expanding the partnerships with the leading VCs in Europe and the US. We integrate technologies, capital, and infrastructure together to transform how true innovators connect, get funding and grow their businesses.

For example, Limpid has to institutionalize the proven model of ABRT Fund by syndicating private capital into high-quality startups and co-investing together with the leading VC firms.

With the startup syndication model, we aim to democratize the VC industry by expanding it beyond traditional LPs.

We promote the Startup House Incubator in Silicon Valley both as a global community of entrepreneurs and a seamless experience of connection, mentorship, and fundraising integrated with work-life balance. Today Startup House runs several co-living spaces and programs for entrepreneurs, exactly like the Deep Dive into Silicon Valley program that ABRT supported back in 2010. With more than 10 houses in the Bay Area and Hong Kong, we are building a holistic startup ecosystem with a real estate private equity model.

The conservative real estate model provides traditional returns, while the venture model add-on gives better upside potential for our investors.

Offerings like Limpid and Startup House connect startups and private capital holders by leveraging our relationship with the leading VCs.
