A Glimmer of Light

One of the most beautiful and magical things to witness in another human is transformation.

Some unique experience or new piece of data opens up a whole new world of possibility that was previously unseen. If you are fortunate enough to catch a person in the middle of this, you may be able to catch the exact moment of transformation. They might sit up a little straighter, break out in a giant smile, or express some combination of bewilderment and amazement at this wonderful new perspective.

True transformation is incredibly rare.

We exist mostly in our bubble of comfort: an environment that limits our growth and potential. It’s safe in our bubble. We built it that way on purpose.

Transformation can be scary. It comes with unknowns. It’s outside our bubble. What if people judge me for what I’m experiencing? What if the path isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. And the big kicker. What if I don’t like who I’m becoming?

That’s why transformation is so rare. It’s doesn’t require rocket science, but it does ask for you to take a massive leap.

Witnessing someone step out of their comfort zone, embrace the unknown and unlock this new transformation to make themselves better has become the focus of our energy and effort at Abundant. Supporting these transformations comes with its own set of challenges, but it’s worth every second to see someone’s light shine a little brighter.
