Bringing Our Past With Us

So many of us are holding on to things from our past that aren’t fully aligned with who we are in this moment.

We feel embarrassment, shame, fear, anger, regret, remorse, disappointment, grief, jealousy, envy and disgust towards things we have done or experienced in the past.

Those experiences are part of our story though. They represent a tiny piece of our Golden Path that make us who we are today. There is a beautiful gift in each and every one of those experiences.

It is up to us to make the choice to fully accept and love each and everyone one of those painful memories. To allow those gifts to redefine our present and our future.

We hold on to those negative feelings from the past at the same time that we are trying to elevate our current energetic and frequency. This creates dissonance in our being. It is impossible for us to be fully present to this moment without integration and reconciliation of the past.

This is the journey. It’s not a “snap my fingers and I’m there” situation. It’s a process that takes time: months, years, decades, a lifetime. It’s part of the fun and joy of being human.

When we are able to bring the past with us from a powerful, integrated and loving perspective, we open entirely new possibilities for the future that we didn’t even know were possible.
