While the Raptors didn’t come out strong, they finished strong.

In the first quarter, the Raptors shot just 33%. The starters were not playing up to par, and it seemed as if they had a bit of a hangover from Monday’s thrilling overtime win. During the second quarter, the Raptors got their heads back in the game and trailed by three points heading to halftime.

Thanks to Delon Wright, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, The Raptors tied the game 90–90 in the third, and pulled away in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Delon Wright was on fire, especially during the second half. He scored a career high 25 points, and a career high 13 rebounds. He also had his first career double-double. DeRozan continued his phenomenal playing, and kept his “hot-hand” on throughout the second half. DeRozan scored 35 points, shooting 53.1% from deep in his last ten games. DeMar DeRozan now has a combined 87 points in his last two games (🔥🔥🔥). Hey Sports Illustrated, don’t you think it’s time to revisit DeRozan’s ranking on your Top 100 list?!

The Raptors bench played a big role in tonight’s win, combining for 54 points. Bulls bench players combined for 39 points.

Earlier today, Raptors head-coach Dwane Casey was named Coach of the month (December) in the Eastern Conference. Golden State Warriors head-coach Steve Kerr was named COTM in the Western Conference. Congratulations to them both!

The Raptors continue their mini three-game road trip in Milwaukee against the Bucks on Friday night.
