Possibly. There could be a lot of complications. One that comes immediately to mind is that there may be more than one mutagen that causes certain genetic changes. An even more complex possibility is that a mutagen causes multiple changes that overlap partially with those of other mutagens which in turn overlap with those of others and so on. It could get pretty complex pretty fast.
