Since our launch last year, the Academy Token Telegram group has been a proverbial town square where accomplishments have been shared alongside criticisms. Your engagement in the progression of ACAD has been obvious and your questions have been heard. In this series, we’ll be answering some of the questions you’ve posed in the Telegram group each week.

This week, we’re addressing a few of your questions about ACAD’s chief utility: paying for academic courses.

When and where are classes scheduled?

We’re constantly striving to provide new and recurring educational opportunities for our ACAD holders. There are still a number of locations that will host ACAD-accepting courses in 2018, with still more to follow as we enter 2019.

Here is a list of the cities where Blockchain Networks courses will be offered (by Kingsland University) in November:

· Singapore

· Seoul, South Korea

· Mexico City, Mexico

· Adelaide, Australia

In January of 2019, Kingsland is offering their Dapps & Solidity course in these locations:

· Singapore

· Seoul, South Korea

· Mexico City, Mexico

· Adelaide, Australia

And the second quarter of 2019 will bring ACAD-accepting courses to:

· Budapest, Hungary

· Tokyo, Japan

· Kiev, Ukraine

· Los Angeles, USA

· New York, USA

· Toronto, Canada

At the World Blockchain Forum, Jason King talks about bringing blockchain education to Budapest and Tokyo. Would those include the Executive Education and Software Programming courses or only the Blockchain Immersion Program?

Whenever we enter new markets — including Budapest and Tokyo — we will offer both Blockchain technical training and the Executive Education programs. To date, our main focus has been on launching our blockchain technical training programs, but we will start to release our dates and locations for the Executive Education, with a tentative target date of November. Please join our newsletter group to make sure you are kept up to date on all future announcements.

We know ACAD can be used for Kingsland courses, but who are the individuals teaching the courses?

Kingsland’s curriculum is designed by the world’s best blockchain minds. The curriculum team is comprised of industry leaders and award-winning educators whose primary role with Kingsland is to create state-of-the-art curricula tailored to meet the evolving needs of the blockchain sector.

Courses are conducted by two or more trainers, depending on cohort size. Their professional experiences and personal interests provide a varied pool of educators for Kingsland students to learn from. We’re happy to introduce you to a couple of the Kingsland instructors:

· Patrick Galloway is a passionate educator and developer. He has built several apps ranging from credit card payment portals to a lead assignment system for a mortgage company. Galloway’s focus is on building strong fundamental skills through a hands-on approach to learning that equips his students with the refined thought processes necessary to become resourceful and skilled developers.

· Simeon Kotashki has his BSc in Computer Science from King’s College London. He’s passionate about cryptography, network security and distributed ledger technologies, working on projects ranging from a Booking System for the Nuclear Medicine Department at “Royal Hospital Chelsea” to a blockchain ecosystem aiming to fight counterfeit products across all industries around the world.

Depending on availability and location, Kingsland’s program also offers guest lectures and Q&A sessions with recognized experts in the blockchain space who occupy the Kingsland advisory roster like Kryptokit’s Steve Dakh and Omni’s Craig Sellars.
