Since our launch last year, the Academy Token Telegram group has been a proverbial town square where accomplishments have been shared alongside criticisms. Your engagement in the progression of ACAD has been obvious and your questions have been heard. In this series, we’ll be answering some of the questions you’ve posed in the Telegram group each week.

This week, we’re clarifying some follow-up questions that have emerged as a result of this series.

I purchased ACADEMY TOKENS. What is the connection to Kingsland University?

As we mentioned last week, there are marked differences between Kingsland University — School of Blockchain and the ACADEMY TOKEN, though they are compatible with one another.

Your ACAD can be used to pay for blockchain educational courses, as it has always been intended to. Kingsland University — School of Blockchain accepts ACAD as a form of tuition payment for their courses.

While both brands revolutionize the blockchain and education spaces in their own unique ways, the courses have become the focus of Kingsland University, whereas Academy Token is poised to become the digital currency underpinning global blockchain education.

ACAD will let us pay for courses all over the world, but are those courses offered in local languages?

It’s true that ACAD can help you pay for an advanced education in a number of different global locations including Mexico City, Singapore, New York, Seoul, Adelaide, and more. It’s a large part of our mission to supply blockchain opportunities to communities everywhere.

The ACAD-compatible courses that have been conducted so far have all be taught in English, regardless of the dominant language spoken in each respective host city. We recognize that this may be impeding our ability to reach talented developers interested in upskilling their careers.

It is certainly on our radar: We can better serve our community by connecting students with courses in their native language. Rest assured that our team is considering the implications and processes associated with this potential for diversification.
