What is Google Bard and How to Use It? How to use the artificial intelligence-supported chatbot recently launched by software giant Google? For those who are curious about the answers to these questions, you can check out our article and share your valuable ideas in the comments section.
One of the most curious questions, especially recently, is about what Google Bard is. In this article, we will answer some of the questions about Bard, which was opened to early access by Google and attracted great interest from the first day.
What is Google Bard?
Bard responds faster than its competitors and offers three different responses to users. With the chatbot, you can ask various questions about a topic, get movie or TV show recommendations and more.
Developed by the software giant, Bard uses the LaMDA language model. LaMDA, introduced in recent years, is built on Transformer, a neural network architecture. The biggest benefit of LAMDA is that it uses less computing power, allows for scalability and provides a more effective feedback system.
Bard stands out with its real-time data advantage. With its Google search engine integration, Bard uses information from the web to provide up-to-date and easy-to-understand answers.
Similar to digital assistants like Alexa or Siri, Bard aims to provide simple, conversational answers to questions. Beyond that, it can also help you plan your next trip.
What is the Difference Between ChatGPT and Google Bard?
Google has around one billion daily users, compared to ChatGPT’s 100 million users. This means that many more people will interact with the language model, and with a large amount of feedback, the model can evolve much more effectively.
Bard, which can give different answers to the same question, uses the LaMDA model, while ChatGPT is based on GPT. The biggest difference between Bard and ChatGPT is that Bard currently only supports the English language. ChatGPT has Turkish language support as well as English.
Will Google BARD be Integrated into Search Results?
Google Bard is likely to be integrated with Google Search. When using Google Bard, you will only need to change one Google setting to get to your regular search. Google also plans to make Google Bard available to third-party developers in the future.
How to Use Google Bard?
To access the beta version of Google Bard, you need to register on the Google Bard website (https://bard.google.com/). A Google account is required for access.
A blue “Join the waiting list” button will appear; click to join the list. When you join the list you will receive a “You have been added to the waiting list” email from bard-noreply@google.com.
When the time is right, you will receive another email with the title “It’s your turn to try Bard”. You will receive a Google invitation for Bard in a few hours, but sometimes it can take longer.
