Introducing Advisor Devadutta Ghat

Kingsland University — School of Blockchain educates the specialized developers desperately needed by the blockchain sector. And one of the most significant selling points of our programs is the promise of applicable job skills that employers need. We can achieve that because our curriculum is informed by a team of advisors that are actively engaged in the blockchain ecosystem, including Devadutta Ghat.

“We are thrilled to welcome Devadutta Ghat to Kingsland in an advisory capacity,” said John Souza, Kingsland founder and CEO. “Recognized as an expert in the fields of blockchain-based distributed systems, Devadutta’s experience, and unique perspective will allow us to provide a deep level of real-world technical expertise to our students.”

Ghat has a long list of leadership roles in tech:

He is the Chief Architect of VideoCoin, a decentralized blockchain-based platform for video encoding, storage, and distribution. As Chief Technology Officer of Live Planet, Inc., Ghat built the world’s first end-to-end live virtual reality video platform. He is currently leading technical implementation of The VideoCoin Network, a blockchain-based decentralized video encoding, storage, and distribution platform at Live Planet. And this isn’t the first time he’s pioneered tech in the video-sphere; Ghat is the holder of six video-related patents.

He’s no stranger to innovation. Ghat welcomes creative solutions to novel problems — including the deficit in blockchain developer education.

“I’m excited to see the Kingsland founders creating an innovative solution to address the severe shortage of blockchain engineers,” said Ghat. “I’m happy to help guide Kingsland’s efforts to create cutting-edge programs and courses to educate developers, executives, and organizations about the skills needed to drive enterprise-level applications of blockchain.”

His insight will be invaluable as Kingsland continues to address the world’s need for qualified developers through student-centered, ecosystem-informed curricula.
