Acadium Student Success: How Arihant is Using His Apprenticeship to Get Started

Arihant Dassani is a master’s student in Italy who is just getting into the world of digital marketing. He started out as a complete beginner but has now gained skills in different marketing disciplines! And after only one apprenticeship!

We asked Arihant about his experiences and how his apprenticeship has helped him with his journey. We also asked him for some tips, about his dreams and aspirations, and what he’s learned. Here is his Acadium journey.

Hi Arihant! Can you tell us why you wanted to do a digital marketing apprenticeship?

I wanted to do an apprenticeship to learn a skill and contribute to a company, to enhance my knowledge, to get out of my comfort zone and explore other areas, and to be a digital marketing professional.

Who did you apprentice with and what skills did you gain?

I apprenticed with Dr. Ade Otukoya, founder of Enterprise Doctors.

From my apprenticeship, I learned more about brand creation, social media, and content creation.

How much experience did you have before your apprenticeship and what were your key takeaways after you completed it?

Before, I had no experience. After the apprenticeship,

I gained skills that we all have but sometimes miss out on, like creativity, idea generation, and time management.

I also learned about brand creation, content creation, social media marketing, and more.

Can you share your top tip for Acadium students who want to secure an apprenticeship?

Your value is in the skills that you have. Learn and master as many skills as you can, and success will chase you.

What are your favorite marketing tools?

My favorite tools are Canva, Pablo, Pexels, and Adobe Spark.

What is your dream job?

I don’t really dream to have any specific job, but I’d like to work for myself someday.

What’s next for you?

From here on, I want to continue building my skills in digital marketing and my other areas of interest. Hopefully, someday, I can travel the world while working remotely, doing something I love.
