Let’s take a closer look at the offerings that Euphrates brings to the table:

Euphrates V1: A Glimpse into a Liquid Future

In its initial release (V1), Euphrates will focus on creating a liquidity layer for DOT and DOT-based assets. It embraces LCDOT and DOT deposits for DOT-based LST pools, which encompass tokens such as Taiga Protocol’s tDOT and Acala’s Liquid Staking Token LDOT.

One notable feature here is the seamless transition of LCDOT holdings in Euphrates. After the Acala lease period concludes at block 17856000 Oct 24~, staked LCDOT will automatically be converted into DOT. Subsequently, these DOT tokens will be staked into either tDOT or LDOT based on your choice of pools, ensuring that you don’t miss out on a single day of staking rewards.

LCDOT pools are launching at block #4538300(estimated 2023–09–26 07:06(+UTC)) with an LDOT pool and a tDOT pool. 5M ACA + TAI token rewards are up for grabs🔥 Details of the initial 2-week rewards can be found in the referendum here, and reward adjustments will be proposed in the following week.

Euphrates V2 will expand across ecosystems by supporting tapETH and ETH deposits for Ethereum-based LSTs.

Target Launch APR: A Rewarding Invitation

Euphrates comes bearing enticing APR targets for its users, creating an environment that rewards participation and engagement:

- LCDOT Staking Target Launch APR: Those who choose to stake LCDOT can look forward to a target launch APR ranging between 35% and 55%.

- DOT Staking Target Launch APR: DOT stakers have their own share of the rewards with a target launch APR that ranges from 26% to 31%.

Rewards are in ACA and participating project tokens Taiga Protocol’s TAI. APR numbers will vary depending on maket conditions and participation. Refer to the Euphrates website for the latest APR figures.

Loyalty Bonus: Honoring Long-Term Commitment

Euphrates prioritizes long-term success and introduces the Loyalty Bonus program with these key objectives:

- Discouraging Over-Speculation: Discourages quick claims and liquidation, ensuring stability in the marketplace.

- Fostering Commitment: Rewards participants who commit to Euphrates over the long haul, building a dedicated community.

- Equitable Rewards: Ensures rewards are distributed fairly among loyal supporters.

The Loyalty Bonus program operates as follows:

Early claim penalty is at 40%, which represents additional rewards for loyal users.
To qualify, stakers must keep their reward tokens in the pool until the program’s end.
Should a staker claim tokens prematurely, their bonus returns to the pool to be shared amongst other stakers.

Long-term participants are likely to receive higher rewards, recognizing their commitment to the Euphrates community.
