All shows will be automatically submitted to Podchaser, boosting podcast discoverability and bringing new engagement tools to creators

November 4, 2021: Acast, the world’s leading independent podcast company, has announced a new partnership with podcast and creator database Podchaser. From today, all 31,000 Acast-hosted podcasts will be automatically submitted to Podchaser — ensuring all these shows are accurately represented in Podchaser with the most up-to-date information.

Instead of gathering cover art, show descriptions and hosting details for these podcasts from submitted RSS feeds, Podchaser will now get this information directly from Acast. Podchaser has been called “the IMDB of podcasts”, offering rating and reviews, creator and guest credits, user-curated playlists, and more.

This new partnership boosts discoverability for Acast podcasters, helping them grow their audiences and find new listeners. Podcasters will also be able to receive feedback on their shows directly from fans using Podchaser, and can engage with podcast listeners through Podchaser’s community tools.

Stacey Goers, Product Manager at Acast, said: “We’re always looking for new ways to help our podcasters grow their audience, and having Acast podcasts properly represented within Podchaser means even more visibility and exposure for those creators. Podchaser also gives creators the opportunity to engage with fans outside of podcast listening apps, further supporting the open ecosystem while helping podcasters build deeper connections.”

Bradley Davis, CEO at Podchaser, said: “At Podchaser, we believe in giving podcasters the tools they need to grow their show and connect with listeners. Through this partnership, Acast-hosted podcasts can easily receive and reply to reviews, add credits, add custom categories, create lists, and more, to boost their organic discoverability.”

All Acast-hosted podcasts will be automatically synced with Podchaser. Podcasters who want to use Podchaser’s engagement tools to get closer to their fans can claim their podcast for free here.
