As we continue to look for great entrepreneurs creating opportunity around the world, we’ve built out the team a bit more to better pursue these opportunities. We announced Nir Blumberger’s arrival a few weeks ago. Today, we’d like to share that Amit Kumar and Nate Niparko have joined, and in Nate’s case re-joined, the U.S. team here at Accel.
Amit joins us from Twitter. He led engineering for a range of Twitter’s commerce and customer service initiatives after his company, Cardspring, was acquired in 2014. Amit focuses on early-stage consumer-oriented mobile, software, and payments companies.
Nate, meanwhile, rejoins later this summer after spending time at Amazon Web Services as a product manager and graduating from the Stanford Graduate School of Business this past spring. During Nate’s initial run with us, he was instrumental in our investments in companies like Crowdstrike, HootSuite, Plex Systems, and Tenable. Nate will focus on growth-stage enterprise software and infrastructure technology companies.
Building strong teams is something we pride ourselves on and it’s where we’re going to continue to push ourselves in the months and years ahead. We’ll share updates as circumstances warrant, but in the meantime, we’re excited to be able to have talents like Amit and Nate on the Accel team.
