Some anonymous genius said it best

“The dream is free. The hustle is sold separately.” That couldn’t be more true of the Fast Forward alumni entrepreneurs who share their deepest entrepreneurial secrets in the latest video collaboration between Fast Forward and Comcast NBCUniversal.

Without hustle (defined as “the courage, confidence, self belief, and self-determination to go out there and work it out until you find the opportunities you want in life” by Urban Dictionary), these entrepreneurs wouldn’t be where they are today. Through hard work, strategic thinking, and persistence, these seven tech nonprofit founders are building game changing solutions to combat some of our world’s biggest problems.

A few of our favorite entrepreneurial secrets shared

“The biggest lesson I’ve learned is going from B to A rather than A to B when I plan. Standing in the future fulfilled, imagining that future and then working back to meet the intended goal.” — Liz Lee, Founder & Executive Director, Online SOS

“So often, we get asked what our plans are, what our next move is… and a lot of times, the answer is, ‘I really don’t know and I could use your help figuring that out.’” — Neil Shah, Founder & CEO, Concrn

“My advice is… don’t take all the advice you get” — Sneha Sheth, Co-Founder & CEO, Dost Education

Huge thanks to our partners at Comcast NBCUniversal for enabling this video, our partners at Okta for hosting the shoot, our all-star videographer Cayla Sharp, and the incredible founders who shared their entrepreneurial secrets:
