Teraz pracowite słońce szybko idzie po niebie.

Dzieci śpiewają ale nie znają chmur ani gwiazd —

ale pracują w czystym szpitalu niewinności.

Czy one pamiętają swoje delikatne matki?

Nie wiem, ale mówi słońce.

Słońce, słońce: co to znaczy?

To miasto duchów.

TRANSLATION

Now the sun, industrious, goes quickly across the sky.

Children are singing, though they know neither clouds nor stars —

singing, though they toil in the clear hospital of innocence.

Do they remember their delicate mothers?
I do not know, but the sun is speaking.

Sun, sun: what does it mean?

This is a city of ghosts.
