CryptoSlate and Crypto Briefing Join The Access Protocol Ecosystem

We are excited to announce Access Protocol’s newest ecosystem participants: CryptoSlate, and Crypto Briefing. The two participants bring an opportunity for over 1.5 million combined monthly users to consume exclusive content through Access Protocol’s Web3 paywall.
A new kind of media consolidation
It has been believed that media organizations must consolidate in order to achieve a necessary level of scale & distribution to compete with social media giants, an assumption that has proven to be all but true.
The Access Protocol ecosystem offers a new approach wherein all participants are provided equal incentives and distribution opportunities while maintaining editorial, artistic, and operational independence.
Cryptoslate and Crypto Briefing join Wu Blockchain and The Block as initial ecosystem participants, with more publications and independent creators to be announced in the coming weeks.
In August, The Block announced their participation, stating they were “influenced by the challenges media organizations have, such as low audience penetration rates for subscriptions, account sharing and content monetization struggles.”
CryptoSlate
At launch, users will be able to stake to CryptoSlate’s pool directly from their website through a fully integrated front end widget, provided by Access, to receive exclusive content.
CryptoSlate will offer their premium research product, CryptoSlate Alpha, under the Access pool. When launched, users will be able to stake $ACS to the pool in order to receive its exclusive membership intended to help investors become more knowledgeable and better decision-makers.

Crypto Briefing
Crypto Briefing will be incorporating Access Protocol into the launch of a new research membership, meant to be their most accessible and lowest-cost subscription to date.
“The biggest problem facing media companies right now is sensible monetization. Many of the ways news companies and content creators support themselves, such as advertising and sponsorships, put them directly at odds with the interests of their users. Using Web3, Access Protocol is offering a novel way to change this dynamic, and Crypto Briefing is excited to test its potential,” said Crypto Briefing CEO Mitchell Moos.
This new service will be available through Access Protocol in Q1 of 2023.
