There are two ways in which content creators can participate in Access Protocol:
- Integrate Access Protocol’s staking interface onto your website
- Hosting their content in The Access Content Hub
In this post we’ll share examples of these two formats.
Integrations
Publications and creators that already host content on their own site have the optionality to integrate Access Protocol directly onto their website.
This integration brings the functionality of the Access Content Hub directly onto your site, enabling users to unlock paywalled content by staking $ACS.
The Access Foundation development team works in conjunction with publications to integrate Access Protocol in seamless manner.
Hosting content on The Access Content Hub
Regardless of how you implement Access Protocol into your business model, all creators will be discoverable in The Access Content Hub.
The Access Content Hub allows users and creators to see how much ACS is staked across the protocol. Discoverability features allow users to filter creators by different attributes, making it easy to find popular creators, see high level details such as creator descriptions, and sort by minimum staking threshold to unlock premium content.
Clicking into a creator page shows popularity and pool size, and allows for users to stake or unstake from a given pool.
Creators have the optionality to enable pool leaderboards, introducing a social element of the platform. The Access Leaderboard allows users to understand pool composition, with details such as:
- What other pools are users staking at?
- How much are other users staking in the pool? `
- How long have users been staking in the pool?
The Access Leaderboard also enables creators to gamify their pool, providing additional incentives to users that stake above the minimum required threshold, a behavior we call “Super Staking”
Pool management is done simply through our creator dashboard where creators are able to seamlessly manage their staking thresholds and claim pool rewards
