Today is Easter which means March has come to an end. It seems like the Easter Bunny brought some goodies along because we have some updates to share.

Easy bank import

We increased our support for bank transaction import. You can now export your bank transactions from your online banking application and import them into Accounteer with ease if you have an account at one of these banks:

Last month we already added improved import functionality that could read any CSV and Excel file. The only caveat was that the file had to contain a clean table with transactions. Unfortunately, almost all Nigerian banks are experts in creating exotic files.

Most files delivered by Nigerian banks require some preprocessing before they can be imported into other applications. Header and footer information needs to be deleted, dates and amounts need to be reformatted,…

Because we know you have better things to do than cleaning up Excel files we’ve created unique import functionality for Access Bank, Diamond Bank, FCMB, GTBank, Union Bank, Zenith Bank, UBA and Stanbic. Drop your files in Accounteer, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Improved PayStack integration

PayStack has been one of the first payment gateways available on Accounteer to accept invoice payments. A lot of merchants don’t only receive invoice payments. They also receive funds via their e-commerce website, direct payment requests, POS and other channels.

Regardless of the channel used all your payments will now be automatically added to your books. We’ll automatically pull in your transactions and make sure your accounts stay in sync. It works like magic…

New customer and supplier reports

It’s now possible to generate reports of the complete history of purchases done by a customer or purchases done at a vendor. Reports can be printed, downloaded as a PDF or exported to Excel. It’s handy for those who want to do a quick ad-hoc analysis or for auditing purposes.

Accounting as a Service

Last month we launched a new service giving you access to a dedicated accountant that takes care of all your bookkeeping needs.

We’ve been blown away by the positive reactions. Mukhtar Oyewo from RubiQube was so kind to share their first experience.

You did an amazing job for us at Rubiqube. Before now, one of our greatest threats was poor accounting and book-keeping.

Your advisory, always paying critical attention to our needs and promptness in delivering expected work is phenomenal.

You exceed all our expectations.
Thanks to the Accounteer Team”

On the roadmap for next month

While March has just finished, we’re already looking forward to what April will bring.

Quick Expenses

One of our top feature requests is a way to quickly enter small expenses without going through the process of creating a full-blown purchase invoice.

While it’s a good practice to record as much detail as possible about your expenses we’ve taken your feedback into account and will be rolling out a new quick expense feature.

POS

We’re currently working on a new POS application for merchants. It’s the perfect sales tool for boutiques, restaurants, cafes amongst others. The POS app integrates seamlessly with your accounting software.

If you have an innovative business, and you want to get your hands on the latest technology before anyone else, drop us an email at team@accounteer.com to test our new POS solution.

Recurring invoices and invoice reminders

Put your business on steroids with recurring invoices and invoice reminders. If you have a subscription service, you’ll love the upcoming recurring invoices feature.

With invoice reminders, you can automatically send out notifications for invoices that are past due date. This will help you keep your credit collection and cashflow under control.

This concludes our update for this month.

As always, feel free to send us your feedback. Which killer feature would make your life so much easier? Let us know, and we’ll make it happen!
