August has passed so it’s time to look back at what went on at Accounteer and all the new features that were released.

Product update

Speed Boost

To make sure we can give you the best user experience, and to support the growing number of users we did an upgrade to our platform to increase performance. You should see a noticeable increase in the app responsiveness.

Improved Reporting

Reports give you insights on how your company is doing. Having a good understanding of your number is essential to take the right business decision. That’s why we improved our reporting module to allow you to compare figures over a period of time. You can see your figures by month, quarter or year. Reports can also be exported as a PDF or Excel file to be shared with your colleagues or financial advisor.

Inventory

We added a few new functions to the inventory module. It’s now possible to set the SKU for a product. An SKU is a code used to identify a product. It’s useful when you want to automate your processes. E.g. to use it on a barcode to quickly register sales.

Low stock alerts. For each product you can configure a stock alert. When the quantity on hand of a certain item goes below the configured balance you’ll get an alert so you can restock in time and avoid a stockout.

Bank Import

We’ve added support for additional file formats for GTB, Diamond Bank and Zenith Bank. It’s now super easy to download a bank statement from your online banking and import in into Accounteer.

In case you need some help importing your bank statements you can always reach out to our team (team@accounteer.com) to schedule a free one-on-one session.

Recurring Invoices

Automate your sales with recurring invoices. It’s ideal for businesses that sell goods or services using a subscription model. You can configure invoices to be generated weekly or monthly.

Purchase Orders

With purchase orders, you can send a document to your supplier clearly stating the goods or services you want to have delivered.

As always, keep suggestions coming. Let us know what you would like to be added next to our software, or how we can improve our service.

POS App

Our POS app has been released as a public alpha version. While it’s still being worked on it’s available for you to download from the Google Play store and use. The POS add is the ideas add-on for retail businesses, restaurants, cafés and more…

From your smartphone or tablet, you can register sales and payments. You can print paper receipts, and even send a digital version via email or SMS. During checkout, you can collect your customer details which can be used for promotional campaigns and loyalty programs.

The app gives you advanced reporting functionality so you can follow up on how your business is performing even when you’re not around. The app can be used by multiple users and across multiple locations at the same time.

With the Accounteer POS app you’ll be able to render a professional experience to your customers and increase your sales. Go ahead and give it a try today. It’s free to use!
