Embedding a high-performance culture at Accurx

At Accurx, we’re driven by our commitment to transform communication in healthcare. To help further our mission and achieve our ambitious goals, we are excited to talk about our shift towards a high-performance culture and introduce our high-performance principles.

These principles have been designed based on what high performance already looks like at Accurx.

Why this shift matters?

This shift empowers our high-performing employees, enabling them to take bold steps, innovate, and collaborate meaningfully. By embracing these principles, we are not only enhancing our internal culture but also positioning Accurx to make a greater impact for our users.

How have we started embracing our high-performance principles?

We kicked off our journey with a company all-hands where we launched our new high-performance principles. This was not just an announcement, but a time when teams reflected on how they could start embedding these principles into their daily ways of working. It was a moment to align everyone on our shared vision and set the stage for our shift. We split off into teams to brainstorm ways in which we can better show how our high-performance principles are not only embedded into some of our current ways of working but how we can continue to raise the bar in the spirit of succeeding together.

To keep the momentum going, we’ve set up an org-wide Slack channel called #highperformancechanges. This channel acts as a space for teams to share updates on their ways of working that align with our high-performance principles. It’s a forum for celebrating progress and learning from different teams. This level of transparency helps drive our commitment to these principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Other ways in which we continue to embed a culture of high performance at Accurx is by recognising where we’re doing well against these principles, and where we’re not. In our company-wide ceremonies, we actively celebrate teams that have gone above and beyond, as well as taking time to reflect on what we could’ve done differently.

We’ve updated all of our hiring resources to make it clear to candidates applying to the roles we index on high performance, as well as building internal hiring resources to help hiring managers identify a high performer in our interview process.

Our shift to a high-performance culture marks a new chapter in our journey at Accurx. By embracing these principles, we will be better equipped to meet our goals, support our users, and empower our employees.
