New Year 2022 is here!!
The Acent team has achieved major milestones in pursuit of our vision. Here’s a recap of what we have accomplished and everything we have in store for you in 2022!
And we know that you are excited as we are to launch the Acent Mainnet as we have promised this year.
The Acent team is pleased to inform you that we are expanding the architecture of the Acent Mainnet to better render metaverse-related features. Hence, we are moving the target release date of the Acent Mainnet by the 1st quarter of 2022.
Here are some of the great improvements that we are working on at the Acent Mainnet:
- Acent integration with Metaverse Applications
Metaverse requires high performing platforms that are able to render high resolution and real-time applications that seamlessly combine reality with the virtual world.
In this regard, we are working round the clock to make Acent ecosystem compatible with Unreal Engine 5 projects through integrating the Osiris Desktop application INterface (ODIN) into the Osiris browser.
The ODIN architecture will allow users to access and enjoy high resolution metaverse games with modest computer requirements and for as long as the computer can accommodate Osiris Web Browser 3.0.
- Acent Mainnet integration with the Osiris Metawallet
Experience ACE token rewards directly in the Osiris Metawallet!!! We are already in the process of integrating the Acent Mainnet with the Osiris Metawallet so users can enjoy seamless crypto transactions as they play their favorite metaverse games.
- Further research and experimental features testing with transfer per second (TPS) enhancements
Latency in the crypto transactions and exchanges is one of the recognizable roadblocks in the metaverse token economy. Acent’s team of blockchain experts is experimenting with various capabilities of Acent Mainnet to increase the TPS of its network to process and confirm a trade or an exchange.
In the meantime, we will open the Acent Testnet, Test Acent Faucet, and the Acent Scan in Mid January to the community before the mainnet release.
