Building a blockchain environment for ACENT CBDC amid proactive CBDC movement
Recently there has been an active movement to apply CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) to blockchain networks such as Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Klaytn (Klaytn), and Quant (QNT).
Acent (ACE) keeps perfecting its products while preparing technical architecture necessary to integrate CBDC into Acent ecosystem.
We are currently building a mainnet based on Acent’s proprietary consensus algorithm POSA (Proof of Staked Authority). POSA can simultaneously process more transactions than POW (Proof of Work) and POS (Proof of Stake), and can use blockchain at a lower cost by significantly reducing network fees.
Faster processing speed and low fees of POSA alongside CBDC, undoubtedly approaches us to the time when we can easily process large volume of transactions. Furthermore, Acent is targeting testnet launch in Q3, 2021 and mainnet in Q4, 2021.
Acent has several key features that enables CBDC to be applied within its ecosystem.
Firstly, Acent’s Web 3.0 Osiris browser is a blockchain-based web browser that also allows CBDC to be used in a web environment. It is designed to support payment, remittance, and deposit by digital CBDC or to use blockchain within Osiris browser, latter to be available through Acent Mainnet.
Secondly, Metawallet embedded in the Osiris browser, is a cryptocurrency multi-wallet with ETH and ACE that is optimized for CBDC to work on any blockchain network. Major cryptocurrencies such as TRX has been added and BTC to be added soon, thus CBDC is going to be used for remittances and deposits in the web environment.
Thirdly, OCEAN, which is key to using CBDC for payment, works with Osiris browser and Metawallet to enable key assets such as BTC, ETH and XRP to be used both offline and online. OCEAN is a protocol that increases compatibility acting as a bridge that allows Acent to apply native tokens from other external networks, such as BTC, ETH, and XRP, to the Acent ecosystem.
In conclusion, Acent can directly adopt and use a blockchain network using CBDC. When CBDC is applied to Acent, you can use Osiris Browser, Metawallet, and Acent’s OCEAN Protocol infrastructure together. Osiris Browser is a web 3.0 browser that can apply CBDC to the web environment and can store and transfer CBDC through Metawallet. OCEAN Protocol is software that directly connects cryptocurrency to payment, and helps connecting offline payment environments of CBDC, BTC, ETH, USDT and others. In addition, according to the customer demand it is possible to select and operate the CBDC as a public or a private chain, and it is possible to separately integrate the transaction data generated through the OCEAN Protocol into the Acent ecosystem.
Acent strives to expand its ecosystem and integrate blockchain to respond organically to external environmental changes in preparation for the commercialization of CBDC. In the future Acent ecosystem and Acent’s ACE are going to play major role in bringing blockchain into the mainstream.
Acent aims to provide User-Centered Internet Service by establishing a token economy that combines a blockchain-based Web 3.0 browser.
