In addition, as we released Version 2.0 of the Acent Whitepaper in March 2022, there have been some new improvements, including the new governance token that was created — the EDAO token. The EDAO token is now available to the public for mining, making the old governance token architecture obsolete.
EDAO was designed specifically for users to share earnings from the Universal Basic Income (UBI) pool. As such, the utility of the token has been expanded from sole governance to include both governance and crypto mining capabilities. Hence, users who participated in the first Acent pledging event will be credited with EDAO tokens this coming November from the first day that they started mining with an additional 15% bonus. Successful pledgers of Season 1 may check their wallets for the EDAO token credit in the next coming months.
With the recent updates in the pledging system, you can proceed to pledge Acent ($ACE) back for UBI earning and EDAO maining if you wish.
