Say Her Name: The Tragic Demise of Shireen Abu Akleh in 5 Languages

The above tragic comic is a simple dedication to the memory of Shireen Abu Akleh. It is hoped that this may serve as an accessible and creative introduction to Shireen’s noble cause and calamitous demise. The comic is translated into five different languages to promote global awareness of her targeted execution (May 11th, 2022).

International Law is the bedrock of our existence as a human race — if it is disregarded, we have no future. Shireen Abu Akleh was one of few indigenous Christian voices of the Middle East, and her cry for justice has been silenced by nefarious extrajudicial actions rooted in bigotry and sexism.
