Why Do I Need a Coach?

All the knowledge of human consciousness is available to us today, especially with the internet’s information sharing capabilities which have broken all barriers. All the knowledge we seek, all the techniques, formulas, and potential solutions are available to us, most of which is mostly free of any monetary cost.

I say mostly free because there is always a price for everything; it may not be in terms of money but it definitely at a cost in terms of something more precious: time. Along with time, the ‘free brigade’ also comes at the cost of effort, trial-and-error, resources, frustration, feelings of failure, depression and irritation. You may do it all alone without paying the price tags attached to specialised expertise (because skills come at a cost); however, hiring an expert gets you there faster. That’s all.

Or is it? Hiring an expert may give you perspectives and in-depth awareness you would not reach alone. Why do champions hire coaches? In most cases, the coaches are not champions themselves, but they are very good at creating champions. Any athlete who wishes to break previous records looks for a good coach no matter how prepared they are, no matter how many years of practice they have put in or how much dedication and obsession they may have.

Why is this?

AURAEXPAND COACHING

We can be very aware, present, rooted and intentional about our life purpose, direction, goals, aims and objectives. However, no matter how hard we try, there will always be blind spots because we cannot look at ourselves from the outside from multiple perspectives. Others rarely hesitate to dispense unsolicited advice based on their opinions and often not suitable for us. Many times, we are susceptible to this advice and liable to give it more weight than benefits.

On the other hand, someone like a coach who studied Human Nature and Psychology, or trained to facilitate progress in others does more than giving advice. They put in years of study and experience and practical skills they honed and built up through training. They share with others the competency they sharpened through experience and practice and the lessons they’ve learned from continued professional development which helps sharpen their perspective. The best coaches have their own coaches to guide them along the way because no matter your expertise or how experienced you are, you will always have blind spots invisible to you from the inside.

Take a good look at your life and take a call.

It might be time to hire someone to facilitate your progress to guide you towards reaching the next levels and look at your life from a whole new perspective to help transform it into something bigger and better, more fulfilling, joyful and satisfactory.

You might just need a coach!
