Back in 2014 we organized the Drupal 8 Starter Day.
One focus was to show students how easy it is to build complex web-projects and to give teachers a powerful tool for their education.

This is the 3rd year in a row that I am Ambassador for this initiative and it is time to promote this years Code Week from 15th to 23rd October.

First things first — What is Code Week Europe?

With Code Week Europe we built a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way.

Coding turns intuitions into solutions, ideas into innovation. Computational thinking unleashes the potential of creativity. It’s not about technology, it’s a matter of personal empowerment. Don’t miss the opportunity learn some coding during Europe Code Week 2016 and share the thrill with your family, pupils and students, friends as well as with millions of people around the world. — Alessandro Bogliolo, Code Week ambassador coordinator

Meet some of the Ambassadors and get a small glympse of what you and your children can learn at one of the many events all around Europe

Don’t miss this chance to be part of something amazing. Mark 15th to 23rd October 2016 in your calendar now!

With CodeWeekEU we can help to start building core competencies in IT early. Our next generation should have the chance to close the gender gap and with this movement we can inspire girls for computer science. — Nico Grienauer, Codeweek Ambassador Austria
