ACT Event: How to pitch to investors?
On Jan 21st, AllChinaTech team will launch our first Tech Junction sharing event on the topic that ‘How to pitch to investors’. It’ll be the first of a series of events we’ll hold throughout this year in the wish to create an effective communication platform for all tech practitioners in Beijing!
The first speaker we invite is David Tang, an IT veteran and experienced investor in the tech field.
More about David
David is the Partner and Managing Director of Nokia Growth Partners (NGP). He also serves as an Independent Board Director of two publicly listed companies, Kingsoft Corporation Limited and YY Inc.
David has more than 20 years of global and Chinese operational experience in the IT industry. He has managed businesses of various sizes up to yearly revenue of RMB 60 billion and is well known in the Chinese venture community as an advisor to leading mobile businesses such as UCWeb and Ganji.
Prior to joining NGP, David used to took senior positions at companies including AMD Greater China, Nokia China, Apple, 3Com, DEC, and AST. He also received numerous awards for his great work throughout the years including being listed as one of the “Ten Best Professional Managers of the Decade” by CEO & CIO Magazine in China.
What’s Tech Junction?
A meetup group held in Beijing for exchanging ideas in efficient, effective and sharp dialogues among startups, tech and media professionals to shed light on the tech scene in China.
To establish a tech community to connect with thinkers and dealmakers around the world.
What do we do at Tech Junction?
A 30-minute Q&A with a well-known startup founder or an investor, which will be hosted monthly. Each time, we will have an appealing topic, followed by a 20-minute open discussion with attendees and flexible networking time.
Apart from offline events, we will publish online videos of dialogue highlights from our events on popular social networks Facebook, Twitter, Medium, Youtube and Youku.
