The governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) for Abia State, Pastor Okey Udo, has unveiled his blueprint for the development of the state.

Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday, Udo said he would balance development in the entire state, saying the current situation where Abia South Senatorial Zone enjoys monopoly of development was unacceptable.

He said, if elected the governor of the state come 2019, he would concentrate on developing agriculture in the northern zone of the state while he would focus on improving the ICT and entrepreneurial skills of youths in the central zone.

“I believe I am ordained by God to be the governor of the state come 2019. When that happens, I will ensure I develop every zone of the state. I shall revolutionarise agriculture in the northern zone while the central zone shall receive attention in ICT and entrepreneurship skills. The southern zone which has enjoyed advantage over the others since the return of democracy will also get attention in the area of sustainable environment and sanitation.”

“Aba looks so dirty. I will make sure the heaps of refuse dotted all around the commercial city are cleared and the city kept clean as a way of boosting tourism,” he said.

He added that he would complete all abandoned infrastructural projects in the state and initiate and execute new ones across the 17 local government areas of the state.
