Applications for the Activate Capital spring/summer 2017 startup programme are now open

Activate Capital has run its signature startup studio programme three times since July 2016, and we are now pleased to announce applications for the 4th programme are now open.

The purpose of the 6-week programme is to give founders hands-on acceleration of their business from idea to prototype. We’re looking for ambitious domain-experts who want to test their business and product ideas and then raise seed investment.

We love great ideas, so we’re interested in all types of startup — but we specialise creating digital platforms. Operating like your tech co-founder we can add unique value to your idea.

Activate Capital differs from other programmes because:

1. We dedicate the six week acceleration to one company, rather than a group of companies.
2. Our mentors are hands on throughout the programme, rather than “dropping in” .
3. We focus on generating a testable value proposition leading to a prototype.
4. We connect each session to the others, rather than running each independently.

How it works:

We run the 6 week programme to develop, clarify and shape your business and product strategies. Read more about what happens at Activate Capital here.

Every programme is unique because we design each one around
the needs of your startup. But the sessions broadly include:

• Strategy and Planning —Tailored sessions, shaped around your business, that build on your unique strengths and address the unique challenges you face.
• Product Design — Design and development of a convincing prototype, tested by users.
• Company Formation Advice — Tax, payroll and regulatory setup and key admin maintenance.
• Pitch Pack — Expert pitch coaching for future funding rounds plus co-creation of an irresistible pitch deck, beautiful website and compelling demo video — all delivering precisely what investors want.

In exchange we ask for 5% of equity.

Please note: Companies must interview and attend all sessions in person in London throughout the programme.
