What Happened When I Drank Chia seeds Lemon Water Every Morning
I didn’t plan on writing about this. Honestly, chia seeds were never on my radar. I was the kind of person who survived on Starbucks, bagels, and late-night pizza. Healthy stuff? Yeah, not me.
Then one random night (scrolling TikTok way too late 🙃), I saw this girl drinking what looked like frog eggs in water. She called it her “glowing skin detox drink.” I laughed. Out loud. But the comments?? Full of people swearing it worked. My brain went: no way… but maybe?
So yeah, I bought a bag.
🥄 First Try = Weird But Interesting
I’m not gonna lie. The first time was… strange. I dumped a spoon of chia seeds into water, left it for 20 minutes, and came back to this jelly-like blob. Looked nasty.
But I added lemon juice, honey, a pinch of turmeric (’cause that’s what the recipe said). Took a sip.
Texture? Weird. Flavor? Not bad. Effect? I wasn’t hungry. Like, at all. Normally, I’d be tearing into the office snacks by 10 a.m. That day? No cravings. I was shook.
