The ad starts with a very concerned Jeff Bezos discovering that Alexa has lost her voice ( pretending that Alexa is a real person) and the company presents a plan B to replace it.It’s a goofy , hillarious affair, featuring Jeff Bezos , Gordon Ramsay, Cardi B, Rebel Wilson and Anthony Hopkins who step in for Amazon’s voice assistant. The ad wraps with the real Alexa sporting her new voice. “Thanks, guys, but I’ll take it from here,” she said to close out.

“But is there deeper meaning behind the spot? After all, with prices reportedly running north of $5 million per 30 seconds, is Amazon hinting at something bigger, or simply finding a way to get the Echo Spot in front of a lot more American eyeballs ?” — Teck crunch
