In 2023, a group of international students met for an Introduction to Advertising and Public Relations class taught by Betty Tsakarestou. The assignment that semester was to create a group project that would combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. After much discussion and brainstorming, the group decided to start their own PR agency.

This is how our story began.

We came up with a name and created a logo. We began to run social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) and our website. Furthermore, we did an analysis of the Toxic Influence campaign, run by Dove, and presented before the Cannes Lion. We even did a marketing campaign for a local company, The Hempers. We created a podcast about natural cosmetics. We developed a marketing strategy taking into account our target and missions.

The mission of “Aphrodite PR Agency” was to help companies build a strong and attractive brand through PR strategies, online marketing, and content creation. The goal was to provide clients with effective marketing tools to achieve success and gain a competitive advantage.

The final digital campaign

One day we decided to do a marketing campaign for a store called The Hempers. They were one of the first stores to market products containing CBD, and they now wanted to increase their visibility.

We created a brand image and, based on this, created posters advertising the natural products they offer.

As Aphrodite PR Agency, in our campaign for The Hempers, the key massage focused on several aspects to promote taking care of oneself, relaxing, enjoying everyday moments, and being more in harmony with nature.

Our campaign emphasized the importance of focusing on ourselves and taking care of ourselves. We reminded all customers of The Hempers that it is worthwhile to devote time and attention to one’s health and well-being. We conveyed that regular use of CBD products can be one part of an effective self-care routine, helping to reduce stress, improve sleep and generally strengthen mental and physical health.

The second important aspect of our message was to encourage rest. In today’s fast-paced life, we often forget the importance of true relaxation. Our campaign was a reminder to allow ourselves a break from our daily routines and take time to recuperate. The Hempers offered CBD products that could help create an atmosphere of calm and relaxation, promoting a quieter mind and reduced tension.

The third aspect of our message focused on enjoying everyday moments. We encouraged The Hempers customers to celebrate small pleasures and appreciate the surrounding beauty. We conveyed that CBD products can help increase awareness and presence at the moment, leading to greater satisfaction and joy in everyday life.

Last, but equally important, our message was to highlight a greater connection to nature. We supported the idea of being more connected to nature and aware of its impact on our health and well-being. The CBD products offered by The Hempers were presented as a natural and eco-friendly solution to help achieve harmony with the world around us.

Our key campaign message for The Hempers focused on self-acceptance, relaxation, celebration of everyday moments, and greater harmony with nature. We believe that these values are extremely important for human balance and well-being, and our campaign aimed to highlight these aspects and encourage customers to incorporate them into their lives.

We are proud to say that, as Aphrodite PR Agency, we have contributed to the development of The Hempers and helped raise public awareness of the naturalness of their products and the health benefits they bring.
