This Novibet initiative with the help of legends like Giannis Antetokoumpo and Nikos Galis proved the positive contribution that private sector can make.

Giannis’ Story

Giannis Antetokounmpo a child of immigrants from Nigeria in Greece grew up in the neighborhood of Sepolia with 3 of his 4 brothers alongside. He began playing basketball from an early age and showed great commitment professional attitude and passion.

Because of the hardships he faced as well as the challenge of growing up in as a second generation immigrant, Giannis became a man of ethical values with the life goal of leading by example and closing the ethnic and social gaps in the society, making him a role model for everyone.

He along with his brothers created a basketball academy to support adolescents and children from underprivileged socioeconomic groups.

To celebrate the birth of Maverick Shai, Giannis helped Milwaukee-area based families in need.

Until now he has made countless offers known and unknown both in Greece, Nigeria and USA where he is based with major goal to give back to the society.

How Buzz Ed will help the Giant Heart?

Our team can be an ambassador of the Giant Heart basketball tournaments in Athens and promote, advertise and provide to the players and teams!

Challenges

· Communication with the main person of the Campaign: To convince Giannis and to explain our vision and our campaign.

· Promotion and advertising of the campaign: Announcement of the events through application forms and contact information online, in order to claim the exceptional gifts from everyone from all parts of Greece.

· Financial cost: Cooperation with Novibet and Giant Heart for the organization of the tournament and sponsorship of air tickets, water bottles, healthy snacks for the team members. Also, cooperation with NIKE for team uniforms.

· Contact Universities: Collaborate with universities so that players who win the tournament have a chance to participate in a try out in America, and if they pass the test to win a scholarship.

Our Marketing Promotion Timeline

Pre-launch: (January — May 2023)

Purpose: Recruit young players.

Content: Announce the event

Launch Day (June 2023)

Purpose: Inform about activities, attract public’s attention, underline the benevolence of the project

Content: Announce the start of the event, State the purpose of the activity, Recruit cheerleaders and music bands to entertain the attendees.

2. Online advertising: Display advertising, Web banner advertising

During the event (July-August 2023)

Purpose: Report the game, show the fighting spirit of the teenagers and the support and underline the help provided by novibet.

Content: Match updates, short videos of the best moments in the game, Players’ and their family/friends interview.

After the Tournament (September — October 2023)

Purpose: Display the final results of the event, demonstrate the social contribution made by novibet, and establish a responsible corporate image.

Content: Awards video and follow-up interviews, matches documentary,data of actions.

Possible Partnerships

It would be easier for us to get in contact with other famous and well awarded companies that have already chosen Giannis Antetokounmpo as their ambassador, in order to ask them to contribute in a campaign where the «Greek Freak» would have a protagonist role.

· Nike is one the companies Giannis has a long-term relationship with and it has always put its customer’s interests first and this has been the foundation of all its brand marketing strategies.

· BMW has a corporate culture which is characterized by clear responsibility, mutual respect and trust. The star of Milwaukee Bucks is BMW’s ambassador and BMW’s group could act as a sponsor to the project.

· Milko the well-known milk company has been sustainable and socially aware on several occasions, while being one of Antetokounmpo’s sponsors for quite a while.

As a conclusion more than economic profit an advertising brand owes a every corporation to give back to the society, promoting the Giant Heart initiative would not only be a great chance to establish our advertising firm alongside a multi-million international brand like NoviBet and a superstar like Giannis Antetokounmpo, but also to give back to the society and help the ones in need.
