During Ad&Pr Lab:apps,games coding @adandprlab class with Betty Tsakarestou and Dr. Stavros Kaperonis we were assigned to conceptualize a startup idea that could put into practice.
Our team, consisted of Angelika Bega ,Violetta Ioanna Makri ,eugenia skouteri ,Kyriaki Kyriakoggona and Evelina Karatziou , decided to brainstorm in order to find a creative idea that would come to life through a website and an application.
At first, we decided to focus on young generations and their concerns and for this, we visualized of making an application that would include helpful and interesting activities for students that live in Greece. After research, we discovered that there were plenty of websites and applications offering this content and we tacked in a different direction. One of the ideas that seemed innovative but could not be executed ,was creating a platform-medium for greek movie festivals . Another thought was creating a guidebook application that would include information about places you can visit around Europe. However, since we could not find a way to differentiate ourselves from other similar applications and websites we made the final decision to focus on something more fascinating, and what can be more fascinating than extreme sports?
Young people are ready to take risks and experience adrenaline rush. Extreme sports allow people to express themselves in a new way as well as live life to the fullest .Since the popularity of adventure sports has continued to grow rapidly over the last decade, we decided to make an application and a website that would include information about extreme sports available in Greece (destinations, tips and equipment).
