Peripterapp,an app for everyone
During this semester for our course apps, games and coding, we were asked to create an innovative application to deal with everyday problems. For our team, this was a task that went through many difficulties. We had to change our propositions many times until we reached our final conclusion. Initially ,we came up with thea idea of an auto-decorator program that would allow ordinary people and businesses to decorate and organize the space that they would desire, offering them many options and different styles to match everyone’s personal aesthetics. However, this was deemed as a procedure that would require programming skills that were beyond our level, so we had to change our idea. Moreover, we came up with many other plans that were not applicable to our expectations and our demands as a team.
Even though we couldn’t make up our minds for what exactly we wanted to do, what was clear enough to us was that we wanted to find a problem to address, in such an efficient way that our app and site would become a must, not just a choice. Our next step, was to get inspired by our everyday lives and try to find the small details that often do not meet our needs as we would like them to .The answer to our problem came suddenly when at a Saturday movie night we had as a team, no one remembered to bring beers. Then it struck us! We fell upon the solution to our trouble! We would create a site and an app that would connect all the kiosks around the area , allowing people to order items that are not available at any other service except from kiosks, at any given time without the possible restrictions you come across such as the hour of the day, the location and simply the fact of wanting delivered to your door without the personal fuss.
We considered that this kind of application would eventually solve a very simple need making our users’ everyday lives a little less complex. Our mindset in Creator Conspiracy is to develop an extremely user-friendly environment and tackle everyday issues. Having that as our top priority we considered that we could actually create a community around Peripterapp, welcoming the traditional “kiosk” into the digital age. By this action every one of our users can have a “last minute solution”, in case they are in need.
To sum up, by thinking as contemporary consumers we could relate to our possible users, thus we decided to adopt and further evolve what would eventually become a cutting edge application. We invite you to follow this trip and learn more about our application!
