During the fourth semester as undergraduate students of the department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University, we had the great opportunity to collaborate with our fellow students, creating our very own start up advertising agency. The class “Introduction To Advertising and Public Relations” was lead by Betty Tsakarestou.

HopeHorizon agency consists of (in Alphabetical order): Anastopoulou Eleni (Public Relations Manager), Doukelli Marianthi (Copywriter), Kafetzis Vaggelis (Team Coordinator), Malama Kyriaki (Creative Director), Michou Maria-Alexandra, (Management) and last but not least Papadopoulou Christina (Social Media Manager).

Our agency, offers innovative advertising services to help brands find their creative voice, while covering a wide range of events. We will cover in detail later on the projects that we’ve done but in brief we started with a Cannes Lions campaign for suicide prevention and ended the semester with our very own campaign for Spotify!

Our name, motto, vision, mission & values

Now let’s take a deep dive into our name. We didn’t chose it randomly, rather we combined the first four out of our six values which are: Honesty, Optimism, Punctuality, Empathy, Cooperation and Adaptability. We thought that by doing so, it would be easier and more effective to communicate to our clients who we really are and what we stand for. Our motto derives from the second compound of our name, which is “we expand the Horizon(s) of advertising to a new level”.

Moving on to our mission, we aim to be loyal to our clients and associates, as well as to establish an agency that effectively engages with contemporary everyday consumers. Lastly, we strive to form a sense of closeness and comfort with our clients. The Last Message

For our first project chose to present a brief analysis of one of the winners of the 2023 Cannes Lions. More specifically we started with “The Last Photo”, a collaborative project between ITV, CALM (the clients) and Adam&EveDDB (the advertising agency), aiming for suicide prevention by showcasing victims who “didn’t show any suicidal tendencies”. We analyzed the purpose, the potential, the key message and more, which gave us an idea on how to deal with sensitive topics and inspired us to proceed with a similar campaign.

This is how our collaborative campaign with ITV and CALM, for Cannes Lions 2025, named “The Last Message” was born. With this campaign, our goal was to convey an equally moving message about suicide prevention. We focused on displaying the last messages sent by their loved ones to people who decided to end their lives by committing suicide. With the phrase “It takes great change to find your wings”, we are addressing all those tormented by unpleasant feelings they do not talk about, reminding them that it is never too late to get their lives back.

#15Novibet

The third campaign celebrated 15 years of Novibet’s presence. As part of the #15Novibet campaign, HopeHorizon commemorated Novibet’s 15th anniversary by presenting all the significant goals that made Novibet stand out as one of the best bet companies worldwide, as expressed by the tagline “Same Values, New Goals”. In this campaign we created a stakeholders’ map, we introduced the objectives and last but not least the strategies and tactics we were going to use throughout the four quarters of the year. Through this campaign, we were able to connect with Novibet’s team, presented our ideas and received valuable feedback.

Echoes of Tomorrow: NewGen Greece

The last campaign we made was for our ideal client, Spotify, titled “Echoes of Tomorrow: NewGen Greece”. Our project focused on promoting upcoming and independent Greek musicians in order to become more recognizable. Many upcoming independent Greek musicians struggle to gain recognition and reach a wider audience due to limited exposure and their music gets overshadowed by more mainstream recognized artists. Providing a platform for independent Greek musicians motivates them to pursue their careers, gain financial stability and achieve recognition. By highlighting underground artists we create new opportunities for collaborations, performances and partnerships within the music industry. Our key message is “Be part of the journey of independent musicians”. We defined the campaign’s goals, success measurement and our target audience. Following a survey of both Spotify users and non-users, we identified our target audience and updated our goals and strategies. The campaign included multiple promotional tactics: collaborations between underground and bigger artists -along with a festival- and curated playlists. Meanwhile, we were prepared to handle the internal and external restrictions. Lastly, we presented our connection with the audience, the campaign’s benefits, our competitors, and stakeholders. We also launched a social media campaign.
