Introduction to Public Relations and Advertising: Our Story.

This article is related to our experience of taking part in Mrs.Betty Tsakarestou class “Introduction to Public Relations and Advertising” and what we learned while attending the class.

This semester we had the opportunity to attend Mrs.Betty Tsakarestou class “Introduction to Public Relations and Advertising” in which we learned a lot about the importance of a Brand, the difficulty of maintaining a brand’s name and legacy (In our task we search the history and the brand of Nespresso).

Furthermore, we discovered startup branding agencies, for example, Laundry Service, how they operate and their struggles and also how an innovative, taboo-breaking campaign could change the game (Libresse’s Campaign-Blood Normal).

We also learned how to work as a team, in order to create our own start-up, the demands of building a startup and how a simple idea could be the start of an innovative company. Lastly, we understood the process of pitching and how important it is for the progress of our work.

To sum up, as a team we gained the knowledge of working as brand ambassadors and what is required to do in this role, while also creating something that is ours and presenting it to the public.
