J&J’s contribution to health(DNAgency)

The task of this assignment was to select our favourite awarded campaign in Cannes and analyse it. We selected Johnson and Johnson’s campaign, because it shows that this particular company, from the beginning, tries to make an impact on people’s lives in order people to get better. This campaign elaborated the funding of a hospital ward many years earlier for the treatment of AIDS, since this disease started to spread, in the end of 1970. Many people were criticised back then, because of their illness. Many people were afraid to come close to their relatives, who were infected, considering that it was contagious even with a hug. Johnson and Johnson helped many people to overcome this disease in a psychological way. The majority was feeling depressed, because they could not see anyone, due to their illness. The ward is called 5B. This activity is considered very crucial for the progress of the awareness of the AIDS disease throughout the years. This issue reflects on everybody, because it matters on the quality of our living. Such actions, like this, must be promoted and supported by all people, in order to enhance the health system and its services.
