M.AD.IDEAS: OUR CAMPAIGN FOR APIVITA!

Marketers around the world are aware of the process of making a digital campaign. They have made numerous advertisements and had to build a full campaign so many times that it has become a natural state. For us? Well..it was our first time getting involved in this business. Nonetheless…one thing is certain: We Are Hooked!

It was a process to travel through this incredible new world where everything was possible. We were lucky to work with such a well-known brand and to meet so many amazing people. Telling you guys about this experience brings back memories and happy tears. However, we promise we will do our best to tell this story.

It all began with the conversation we had with Ms. Marina Pitsou, one of the Marketing Executives of Apivita. She explained Aqua Beelicious, the series of products we will market. She revealed how this business operates and gave us some guidelines on how to approach it. Then we studied and researched the original campaign, what we needed to do to make an advertisement script, shooting angles, and other related terms.

It was time for brainstorming. We had all the clues and the “how’s to”. We had to turn those into action.

Let’s see what we wanted to showcase:

We had a lot of ideas and we had to find the one which was the most suitable. At the same time, we had to limit it down to what we could do with our skills. One other parameter we included was our budget or better shall we say the lack of it.

After hours of going through every concept, we finally settled with an approach we were excited. It was then that we realized that with creativity you get a long way, even if you lack experience or capital.

Shoot

The hero of the ad is the natural greek landscape. We wanted to portrait that when a woman uses the series Aqua Beelicious, her boudoir is transferred in nature. For that reason, it was called “The Journey of the Basket”. A young woman gets the products right from mother nature. She will found it next to bee beehive and she will take them home. We wanted to highlight the natural ingredient: such as honey, flowers, and water. To do that we incorporated those elements all through the ad

Let’s see step-by-step the process

1.We found the location: Vari a Greek suburb of Athens filled with flowers, green and farm animals

2. We got access to beehive

3. We found all the items needed to build a boudoir in nature

4 We took with us passion and creativity
