PITSOS — SMART HOME
Being students in the fourth year of our studies at Panteion University, up to now we have been involved in a series of various projects regarding the modules of our studies. Due to the fact that our specialisation is Advertising and Public Relations, we are required to get involved in a project regarding the Pitsos company. Specifically, we have to create a 360 campaign for the new IoT- smart products that Pitsos will soon be launching for 2018.
A big challenge for us was that this project would not be a hypothetical case study but a real-life one.
This years course learned us how to enrich our knowledge and cultivate the positive qualities of our brain! It was not easy but we are happy and grateful that we were part of this course! We did not only learn how to use our brain but also how to collaborate with our colleagues! We can easily say that it was like a simulation ! Most of the projects we were about to deal with, were like real samples that businesses will may ask from us in the Future! A valuable experience for us, for sure…!
On with the Concept!
1ST IDEA
In the introductory phase we brainstormed a number of different activities that could take place. However, we finally came to the decision regarding the first concept which is called “Let Pitsos make your life easy!”.Pitsos takes care for you…!”
The specific idea would be actually presented by Akis Petretzikis, the famous Greek Chef , who has a great reputation in addition to his renown. It should be pinpointed that Akis was chosen not only for his appeal to both the younger as well as the older generation but due to the fact that he is a very young and respected person himself. We came to this thought due to the fact, that a person like him a Chef can easily promote pitsos devices through his television show and it makes our goal more easier!
A 360 campaign involves various media and channels a product can be promoted through, such as television, digital, outdoor, promotion events, social media and advertisements in magazines.
“TELEVISION SPOT”
PANIC AT KITCHENLAB!
Akis is known for his business store the Kitchenlab! It is the place he has chosen to present to us his amazing prescriptions! His Kitchen house! What a nice place for us to choose in order to promote our app! Besides Pitsos connects “Home”devices we need his home to promote it better!
The plot!
The scene begins with Akis Petretzikis sitting relaxed in his dressing room and preparing for his TV show at his own "Kitchen Lab"
Getting out of his dressing room and a few minutes before the show begins, we see in the second scene the staff and his assistants running to prevent the preparation of the kitchen and the food.
Akis, relaxed and cheerful, whistles by stopping the hubbub around him.
"Why are you anxious? I have preheated the oven before and the food is almost ready "
"Well when did you get ahead? After you were in, "one of his assistants asks him.
"I have the Home Connect application of Pitsos children. With a touch and everything ready quickly and effortlessly! You do it when you're out!
What we want to say?
"Are you crazy when you do not get ahead? You do not have to take care of anything, we do it for you! You can also put the ease in your life using Pitsos HomeConnect's new technology where at the touch of a button you can control all Pitsos appliances whenever and wherever you want, easily, quickly and without any stress. Inform HomeConnect at central points of sale or in Pitsos shops!

“DIGITAL”
A 30' You tube video it is a good thought to promote the new pitsos app ‘HOME CONNECT”. The video will look like a tutorial regarding cooking! Akis has done a lot of those videos during his career!
The thought was the video to show Akis hands cooking a delicious chocolate souffle! But what about the time he must preheats the oven? Maybe the new App of Pitsos “Home Connect” can make his life and cooking easier!
“OUTDOOR!”
Every passerby should download Pitsos's "Home Connect" application at that time on his mobile and by scanning the code he will execute the instructions and the juicer will start to work by making the fresh juice

”EVENT”
In an effort to take advantage of as many as possible ways in order to promote effectively the new application of Pitsos “HomeConnect”, which facilitates the operation of electrical appliances through mobile phones, we are presenting a promotion event as a specific example.
To start with, a simulation event will be organized at Kitchen Lab or at a Pitsos showroom. The event will be known to people with banners posted at supermarkets or shops selling electrical appliances.
2ND IDEA
As far as what lies behind the concept, it is time to present our second idea, which has to do with a rather impersonal approach focusing on innovation technology. Since we wish to promote this product as a premium one, no other element is allowed to cast a shadow on our idea. The focal point of our catchphrase is “Η τεχνολογία στο χέρι σας” — “Technology in your hand”.
For this concept we followed the same procedure as concept 1! A television spot, an outdoor an event and a print form our idea!

Plot
Everything is mute! After Panning view in the kitchen with appliances, focus on the lobby Pitsos, a voice says:“What would you do if you could control your home at the touch of a button? A man in black holds a phone in his hands and the lights open ! He looks at devices around him in a ready, calm and serious manner but with a smirk. The camera focuses on the Pitsos application and he gives a voice command. The devices respond to his instructions. Our shot goes to every device that opens!!

“DIGITAL”
Interactive simulation app, with which the user has access to an online platform. On this platform, he virtually visits a home, and sees how the devices interact with a virtual cellphone that has the same user interface as the actual application.
The goal is that the platform itself is viral content and at the same time expel its fear "And if I can not find out how it works?"
“OUTDOOR”
An interactive billboard, users interactively interact with the refrigerator from their smart phone by using an application demo.
“Print”
Here is our specific example, the advertisement in a magazine, where the opposition between art and quote is realized. The mobile phone represents art whereas the message “Μισό λεπτό να κλείσω το φούρνο” — “Just a minute to turn the oven off” is the quote. So, potential customers will receive the actual message of the advertisement in less than a second.
“To sum up!”
Through this experience we realized that everything has its cause! There are difficulties in life but people can easily get over them! Technology is in our hands nowadays and we need to use it properly! Besides in a way technology helps you and makes your life easier! That is what “Home Connect” does “It makes your life easier”

To conclude with, we would like to express our gratitude to our mentors Mr. Giannis Sorotos and Mr. Eric Parks as well as to people in charge of this project Assistant Professor Mrs. Dimitra Iordanoglou and Ms. Betty Tsakarestou and, last but not least, Mr. Yannos Zafeiris representative of the Pitsos Company.
We feel like clarifying that this project has been the result of joint effort and a much rewarding experience. We not only acquired new knowledge but broadened our horizons through cooperation and teamwork.
