Antigoni Papakosta as the art director always ensures that the client’s desired message and image are conveyed to consumers, collaborating on the ideation and development of the most innovative marketing campaigns.

As this year’s journey comes to an end, we are more than proud to be given the opportunity to present one of our most recent projects. Let us introduce you to our new audio innovation start-up idea: Sightear+.

How we came up with this idea:
The blindfolded tag game was one of our favorite games to play as kids with our friends. The blindfolded person could only detect the players through sound. It was one of the most fun and enjoyable games, but would it still seem fun if that was your everyday life? Would you trust the rest of your senses? Would it still seem like a game?

We took the everyday difficulties vision-impaired people face very seriously. Aspiring to create an innovative solution that would improve their quality of life and give them more independence, we designed a model of glasses that can help people who have partially or even completely lost their vision complete with ease various activities in their everyday lives.

Presenting the idea:
We noticed an absence of ancillary tools and products for people who have partially or completely lost their vision. Blind people have been taught to live strictly by the use of canes and service dogs, even though that can sometimes be dangerous. This is what lead us to create Sighthear+, a pair of technologically advanced glasses designed to assist people with visual impairments. Even though there are a few existing glasses for vision-impaired people there are no glasses with such technological advancement for those who have completely lost their vision.

It includes a micro, high-definition 180º camera that captures everything that is in front of the person wearing them. The advanced, clinically validated algorithms
optimize and enhance the footage that is then presented on the OLED screens in real-time. The integrated sensors can identify and alert the person about obstacles, which helps enhance their spatial awareness. Thanks to augmented reality, the integrated noise-canceling earphones can let the person know about the surrounding objects, obstacles, and hypothetical dangers and navigate them safely. The artificial intelligence algorithms enable the glasses to assist with everyday tasks such as helping with shopping, providing directions, instructions, etc. The product constantly becomes better and learns how to correctly assist the user with the help of extremely advanced AI.

The business model we chose to follow and our goals for the next decade:
After careful consideration of our options, we decided to follow a B2B method and build partnerships with healthcare providers, vision rehabilitation centers, and government agencies to supply the glasses as part of their assistive technology offerings. This way we have the chance to reach a larger audience through already-established networks. Meanwhile, we plan on distributing our product through direct sales, selling the glasses to end users through our website, created to communicate in detail every single feature of our product. Last but not least, we decided to contribute to the technological and research sector by collaborating with
researchers, institutions, and companies that can benefit and evolve from anonymous user insights to understand the market’s needs and create better technology. Taking into consideration that data monetizing may not be compliant with many users, they have the option to not consent, even though there are many beneficial reasons why to agree to the processing of their personal data. Our goal with this business model is to reach more than 50% of the market share by 2030 and establish
a dominant position in our field.

When talking future, we need to think about marketing.
The social mediums we have chosen to use to create and
increase brand awareness are Instagram and Facebook- since our target group is mostly an older generation. We are going to focus on TV and radio
campaigns to reach direct clients, as the audio nature of these
channels makes them the ones our target audience prefers. Last but not least, we will collaborate with and focus on TV and radio campaigns with relevant organizations such as vision rehabilitation centers, as we want to establish partnerships for distribution and reach potential consumers effectively.

Even though the market landscape may seem competitive enough, the
unique key features of Sightear+ can make it easily stand out. Giving people
with vision impairments enhanced vision and technology so advanced that it can assist them on every single one of their tasks, truly means boosting their confidence and empowering them to engage with the world more independently. The advent of the new technological reality should mean equal opportunities and better quality of life for everyone. With Sightear+ ParADox advertising introduces to the world a pair of glasses, able to change everyone’s point of view on mankind’s abilities.
